Britney Jean Spears

Britney Jean Sparrow was born in McComb (Mississippi) on December 2, 1981 . She was was raised in Kentwood (Louisiana). Britney was a dancer as a child and was a winner of numerous competitions in gymnastics. Britney was a great dancer and singer. Britney tried to audition for The All New Mickey Mouse Club (1989) at age eight. She was rejected because of her age. Britney was then recommended to the off-Broadway musical "Ruthless" in which she played the lead role for two years. At age 11 she was back in the running for The All New Mickey Mouse Club (1989) and it was this time she made the show as a mouseketeer with the stars of the present (Justin Timberlake and JC Chasez of *NSYNC , and Ryan Gosling). However, her biggest breakthrough came in the late 1990s when she was signed to be a Jive Recording Artist. The debut album of Britney Spears, "...Baby, was released in 1999. Britney also sold 9 million copies (as in July 2001) of her second album "Oops !...I Do It Again" released in May 2000. Britney was born to Lynne Spears (and Jamie Spears) and has a huge sister named Jamie Lynn Spears. Britney was a daughter of Madonna, Mariah Carey, and Whitney Houston, was always determined to be a celebrity. After a long period of vocal and dance classes, and performing in numerous show and fairs Britney auditioned for The All New Mickey Mouse Club (1989) television series between 1989 and 1994 when she was just 8years old, however, she was too young to get the part. Britney relocated to New York with her mother and the baby sibling. She appeared in numerous TV advertisements and also served as the understudy of Natalie Portman in "Ruthless" off-Broadway. Her passion for dancing and music took over and two years after that, she was auditioning for part in "Mickey Mouse" again, and this time, got the part with Christina Aguilera and Justin Timberlake.
