American actress Danielle Riley Keough. [2] Born in Santa Monica (California) to musicians Lisa Marie Presley & Danny Keough She is the grandchild of the actress Priscilla Presley and singer Elvis Presley. Keough was raised in Hawaii by her father and living in Los Angeles by her mother. She also lived in California and Tennessee together with her mother. When she was 15 she began modeling, including appearances in fashion shows with Dolce & Gabbana and Christian Dior and appearing on the cover of Vogue. Keough made her feature film debut at age 20, appearing as a supporting character in the musical biopic The Runaways (2010), playing Marie Currie. In the following years, she was a part of the independent thriller film The Good Doctor (2011) followed by the horror movie Jack & Diane (2012) and was then part of a minor character in Steven Soderbergh's comedy Magic Mike (2012). Keough was also in a number of independent films in 2012 as well, including Yellow and Kiss of the Damned, before making an appearance in the high-budget action film Mad Max: Fury Road (2015) 4th film in the Mad Max series. In 2016, Keough had her breakthrough role as a law student-turned-escort in the first season of the anthology series The Girlfriend Experience, executive-produced by Soderbergh and based on his 2009 film of the same name. The show received a lot of praise from critics for her performance and earned a Golden Globe Award nomination for the best performance by an actress in a Limited Series or Motion Picture Made for Television. Keough's subsequent performance as a reckless young woman in the drama American Honey (2017) earned more praise with an Independent Spirit Award nomination for Best Supporting Female. Keough was the protagonist of the horror movie that was set in the aftermath of the Great Apocalypse It Comes at Night (2017). Keough then reunited Soderbergh for a role in Logan Lucky, a heist movie. The film was followed by roles in a range of horror and thriller films in the year 2018, including Lars von Trier’s The House That Jack Built and the neonoir Under the Silver Lake. Keough played the lead in The Lodge, a psychological horror film. Zola is Keough's comedy-drama sequel. Keough plays the character Sandy Harrison, Netflix's 2020 release The Devil All the Time.
