Zachary Galifianakis

Zachary Knight Galifianakis Greek pronunciation (born October 1 1969): American comedian, comedian, musician, and writer. He also appeared on Comedy Central Presents and hosted Late World With Zach on VH1. Galifianakis has appeared as a lead in many films which include The Hangover Trilogy (2009-2013), Due Date (2010). The Campaign (2012), Birdman or The Unexpected Virtue of Ignorance (2014) as well as Masterminds (2016). He voiced characters in animated films like Puss in Boots (2011), The Lego Batman Movie (2017), Missing Link (2019), and Ron's Gone Wrong (2021). Galifianakis currently hosts the Funny or Die website talk show Between Two Ferns with Zach Galifianakis. Galifianakis appeared on the FX series Baskets. He was nominated in 2017 for the Primetime Emmy Award as Outstanding Lead Actor in a Comedy Series. Zachary Knight Galifianakis was born in Wilkesboro, North Carolina, on October 1, 1969. He is the son of community arts center proprietor Mary Frances (nee Cashion) and heating oil vendor Harry Galifianakis. His mother is Scottish-Irish and English origin, and his paternal grandparents were Greek immigrants from Crete. He was baptized within his father's Greek Orthodox faith. He is the younger brother of named Merritt, as well as an elder brother, Greg. The cousin of his Nick Galifianakis (Washington Post cartoonist) is his uncle. Galifianakis attended Wilkes Central High School. Then, he attended North Carolina State University and majored in communications. While in college working at an access station for the public.
