Lil Tecca

Tyler-Justin Anthony Sharpe was born on August 26 the 26th of August, 2002. He is known as Lil Tecca. The song he released in 2019 "Ransom" was his first major hit. It reached number 4 on the Billboard Hot 100. The song was part of his debut mixtape "We Love You Tecca" (2019), which reached number 4 on US Billboard 200. It also contained the singles "Love Me" and "Did It Again". The album he released as his debut studio album, Virgo World (2020), debuted at #10 on the Billboard 200 and included the Billboard Hot 100's top-charting tracks "Dolly" as well as "When You Down". The second mixtape, We Love You Tecca 2, was released in the month of August 2021. It included "Repeat It" and "Lot of Me". Tyler-Justin Anthony sharpe was the son of Jamaican immigrants. He was born on August 26 2002, in Queens, New York City. Sharpe was born in Queens' Springfield Gardens, and later relocated to Cedarhurst on Long Island. Sharpe had always wanted to be a part of the NBA in his youth but at the age 12 Sharpe decided to pursue a career in music. Sharpe attended Lawrence High School. When Tecca was nine years old, he adapted to his interest in music by rapping along with his friends using his Xbox. The two would sometimes make a mockery of one another. One of them was uploaded on SoundCloud several years ago, however it was later removed. The singer initially didn't intend to pursue a career in music although he did dream of becoming a NBA superstar. However, in his middle school years his interest in basketball faded and started to take the music seriously. The first track to become famous, "Tectri", was created in collaboration with Lil Gummybear and released in the early part of 2017. The artist also released "Callin", another of his early songs. A year later his career was beginning to gain momentum with the hit single "Ransom" The track was originally uploaded on Cole Bennett's Lyrical Lemonade YouTube channel on May 22, 2019. It peaked at number 4 on the Billboard Hot 100 charts and has been played over 900,000,000 times on Spotify and more than 300 million times on YouTube.
