Alison Doody

Alison Doody, born 11 November 1966 in Ireland, is a model and actor. She made her film debut as an actress and Bond model on the set of A View to a Kill, (1985). Then she appeared in Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade in 1989. Doody played Nazi sympathetic archaeologist Elsa Schneider. Siobhan donavan was featured in A Prayer for the Dying in 1987. Charlotte played Taffin (in 1998) and Rebecca Flannery played Major League II. A photographer approached Doody. Doody began to model that eventually led to the profession of commercial modeling. Doody was adamantly against glamour and naked work, a rule that she extended to her acting career. When she came to the director's attention in a James Bond film, Doody took on a part for a small part in A View to a Kill (1985). Doody's name was featured in John Willis Screen World Vol. 12 which features the most promising young actors from 1986. 38. Doody was just 18 at the time of her first appearance in the Bond character. As of today she's the newest Bond girl. A different early film had her in a minor role as IRA Siobhan Doovan, a member of the IRA in A Prayer for the Dying (1987) which starred Mickey Rourke. Doody was unspoken in the film as Archibald Craven's wife Lilias as she appeared in his dream, 1987's adaptation from The Secret Garden. The storyteller's episode Sapsorrow was her debut leading role. The episode aired in 1988 opposite John Hurt, Dawn French as well as Jennifer Saunders. The first time she appeared was in the 1988 movie Taffin with Pierce Brosnan. Next, she portrayed the role of Dr. Elsa Schneider as an Austrian archaeologist, Nazi-sympathizer, and antagonist to Harrison Ford. Doody is a part of the James Bond family, having played alongside Sean Connery and Jonathan Pryce in the film Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade. In the year 1991, Doody was co-starring with Jonathan Pryce in British mini-series Selling Hitler inspired by the publication fraud, also known as the Hitler Diaries. Doody then relocated to Hollywood. The choice was made to replace Cybill Shepherd as the spokeswoman of L'Oreal She went on to perform alongside Charlie Sheen in 1994's Major League II as Flannery the agent's girlfriend. Doody came back to acting in 2003, playing a small role as a character in The Actors, a British comedy The Actors, in which Michael Caine played herself at the awards ceremony. She starred along together with Patrick Swayze, in the 2004 TV film adaptation of King Solomon's Mines. In 2010 Doody played a role of Danny Dyer's movie The Rapture (2010). The Clinic, a medical drama, aired on RTE. The Asphyx was her 2011 remake. Pam Jefferson, the character that she played in the comedy series E4's Beaver Falls during its first season of two years. In 2014 she appeared in We Still Kill the Old Way. The Almeria the tierra de film prize was given to her on November 21 in 2018. She also received an award on the Almeria Walk of Fame.
